To complement our regular profiles, we started the #WomenBehindTheWork initiative, where we work with leading parasitology journals to profile lead and/or senior authors of articles in press.
Posted exclusively on Wednesdays, this initiative intends to put a name, face and some context to the women conducting cutting-edge and diverse parasitology research. Currently, our collaborators on the #WomenBehindTheWork intitiative include Trends in Parasitology, The International Journal for Parasitology, PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases, Veterinary Parasitology, Veterinary Parasitology: Regional Studies and Reports and The Lancet: Microbe.
